Gareth, one of our Company Directors, started in corporate estate agency over 14 years ago, where he and Jon Morris met. He loves the huge variety of homes in Burnley and the different challenges every one of them poses for him and the team. Out of the office, he’s a keen golfer and enjoys spending time with his Dad out on the courses.

Laura, our Lettings Manager started her career in nearby Padiham, and joined JonSimon to progress her career. She loves working in the property industry is now working to progress further by becoming a member of the NAEA. She is a gin enthusiast, and loves taking her dog Bear on long walks around the countryside.

John W Dinsdale traded as a highly-respected estate agent and chartered surveyor under his own name for nearly 30 years before deciding to lend JonSimon Estate Agents Burnley his knowledge and experience. Now working part time, John is also a keen golfer and can often be found at the Nelson Golf Club. We frequently joke about him beating Gareth, and hope to see a rematch soon.

Kath Parker and John W Dinsdale have worked together for over 25 years! They oversaw the running of John W Dinsdale Estate Agents and Chartered Surveyors until 2017 when they were taken over by JonSimon and joined our talented team. Kath now also works part time and spends her time away from the office with her grandchildren.

Every year we help customers all over the local area find their dream homes, whether they’re letting, renting or selling or buying their forever home. Our expertise and high level of service means that we don’t just market properties, we sell them!

About Burnley

One of Burnley’s stand out features is the surrounding countryside. The Pennines are right on your doorstep, and the majestic hills can be seen from almost everywhere in town. There are an abundance of green spaces in Burnley, perfect for families, couples and individuals alike, with several parks in the area, including Byerden Holme Linear Park, Rowley Lake and the surrounding woodlands, Healy Heights and Grove Lane Wood in nearby Padiham.

The picturesque Weavers’ Triangle, situated in Burnley town centre frames the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, which runs through the area. Showing off the cultural heritage of the area, the cotton mills and surrounding buildings have also been a significant area of development in recent years – a great place to learn about the history of Manchester.

Other engaging activities include the historic visitor centre in the Weavers’ Triangle;Towneley Hall, which also has an art gallery and exhibitions about the local area; as well as the historic Gawthorpe Hall, a National Trust property based in the heart of the beautiful Stubbins Estate, which spans 436 acres, including over a small portion of Holcombe Moor.

You can also see the Singing Ringing Tree from Crown Point in the hills above Burnley. Designed by Tonkin Liu and the winner of a National Award for Architectural Excellence by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), the unique metal sculpture is shaped like a tree, and is made of steel pipes which produce a low pitched singing sound as the wind passes through it. From Crown Point, you can see the whole town of Burnley as well as panoramas of the local area, overlooking the majestic forests and hills in the area.

For those who prefer to stay a little closer to the ground, Burnley’s best hidden gem has to be Bella’s Bakes – a treasure of a cake shop that the team at JonSimon recommend to everyone – buy a cake and thank us for telling you about it later!

If you’re looking to sell, let or rent your home in Burnley or the surrounding area, contact JonSimon Estate Agents Burnley to see how our team can help you get the most out of your home, completely stress-free!

Estate and Letting Agent Radcliffe

Welcome To JonSimon Radcliffe

Archives

Tucked away in the Irwell Valley, you’ll find the town of Radcliffe. With great access to the local hubs of Bury and Bolton, and Manchester to the south, Radcliffe is very well connected, with an active property market. From small bungalows and terraced houses to large premium detached houses, the property market in Radcliffe is varied and offers buyers fantastic value for money. Lets in Radcliffe also offer higher yields in Radcliffe than the surrounding area, making Radcliffe perfect for buy-to-let developers and landlords.

JonSimon Estate Agents’ first office opened in Radcliffe in 2008, so we have a special connection to Radcliffe. Even as we’ve expanded our operation to bring our unique style of estate agency to cover the North Manchester and Lancashire area, Radcliffe has been our central hub. As we’ve been a part of the Radcliffe community for over ten years, our level of knowledge about the local area is unrivalled, and with a small team of experts passionate about property and the local area, JonSimon is the obvious choice if you’re selling, letting or renting a home in Radcliffe, Whitefield, Little Lever, Clifton, Kearsley, Chapel Field and the surrounding area.

Why Choose JonSimon Estate Agents Radcliffe?

As a team with over ten years of experience working in the local market, we’re experts in Radcliffe property. Our understanding of the market comes from years of strong relationships with the local community and each of the team members, creating the close-knit, honest and knowledgeable team we have with us today.

Liam Pope, our Lettings Manager, has worked in the local property industry for 13 years, and at JonSimon for the past 10! He’s always looking to develop and learn more, while staying up to date on the ever changing rental market. As a valuable team member at JonSImon Estate Agents, he loves meeting new clients and building valuable personal relationships, as well as helping train and guide his newer colleagues as our team grows, something he finds incredibly rewarding.

Andrew Collins, our Sales Manager has a varied background, covering sales and marketing across many different industries. He’s now a member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), and loves meeting new people every day, and being able to help his clients through one of the most stressful periods in their lives, moving house! He loves working with a team of great friends, and seeing what we can achieve as a collective every year. Outside of work, he is a football fiend, whether it’s playing himself, watching his sons play or supporting his team – Manchester United. He also loves spending quality time with his friends and family.

About Radcliffe

Radcliffe is situated in the Irwell Valley, near the River Irwell, and is surrounded by a variety of green spaces, country parks and historical monuments, so there’s something for everyone. With close transport links to nearby Bury, Bolton and Manchester, there is something for everyone in the Radcliffe area.

Radcliffe Tower is one of the town’s most interesting historical attractions. Built in 1403 by the lord of the manor, it was demolished in the 19th century and now the tower is the only part that remains, and is a grade 1 listed area. In 2014, restorations and renovations were carried out with the support of Radcliffe’s local community to both the Radcliffe Tower and nearby St. Mary’s Church, as well as excavating the area around the tower. Radcliffe tower is an exciting project, and is loved by the local community.

Radcliffe also has a variety of local green spaces, perfect for walking and spending time with friends and family in the beautiful countryside of the Irwell Valley. Close Park, just a mile from the town centre has a bowling green, outdoor gym, children’s play area, football pitches and tennis courts. You can also see a sculpture project created with Radcliffe’s local schools and sculptor Mark Jalland at Close Park, and it has maintained green flag status since 2004, marking it as one of the best maintained local parks in the country.

The Outwood Country Park and Trail just south of Radcliffe provides a beautiful window to the great outdoors, and shows off the countryside around Radcliffe in its best light. As one of the key locations on the Irwell Sculpture Trail, there’s also plenty to see and do on the trail.

With all this and more to be found in the thriving town of Radcliffe, it makes the perfect location to find great value homes and high-yield lets. If you’re looking to sell, let or rent a home in the Radcliffe area, contact JonSimon Estate Agents Radcliffe and see how we can help you navigate the Radcliffe property market.
